Echoes of the Past: A Reminder of Times that Cannot be Erased

In this land of familiar place I stood, Where carefree days of youth once reigned, Echoes of laughter and joy at hand, Now softly whisper in the breeze in empty hollowed woods refrained from the future pressures.
As I sat and watched the children play and dance, I reminisced about simple times, when all was easy, without peer pressure, and all joy spreads, but oh-so divine.
How I yearn to turn back the clock, To relive those cherished moments once more, feeling the sense of happiness that once rocked, banished the tears that now deplore.
But alas, the past has gone astray, And all that's left is a bittersweet taste, A memory that's here to stay, Of a time when life was pure and chaste.
And so I stand here, a little wiser, Yet still in awe of this hallowed ground, A reminder of a time is falling sand, A piece of me that time cannot reverse.
Here I sit, gazing at the road ahead, witnessing a group struggling who is my future comrades. I'm not alone on this path, with discovered companions by my side, leading instead, Filling me with purpose and a renewed aftermath.
Their support is a beacon of light, full of hope, and empowers them to resolve moving forward ahead. I vigorously stood up. I believe I can cope, And boldly confront whatever lies ahead.
As I sat here, plagued by doubt and loss, I felt the spirit of a community, A support system that comes at no cost, Fueling my passion for creativity.
So I rise, my head held high, Ready to face whatever comes my way, No longer held back by failures gone by, For a new path has been forged showing me the road to paradise.
And as I move forward, hand in hand, With my newfound comrades by my side, I know how I can spend time with them, And create something meaningful with pride in my lightning passion for igniting and helping those who are in need.
This poem is dedicated for my upcoming graduation from senior high school.
Sincerely: Eren Kagenou.
