Character Biography:

Growing up, Carlos Mendoza's family may have struggled financially, yet he had a decent childhood. His teachers noticed his brilliance and encouraged him to join the student council in third grade at Blackborne Academy. Initially, Carlos didn't want to get into politics and being a leader was the last thing on his mind - all he wanted to do was be a successful student. His parents however, noticed the potential in him and supported him in this decision. Thus, Carlos joined the school Journalism Club and the Elementary Student Council as Public Relations Officer. He continued to climb up the ranks and eventually became President of the Student Council in high school. Before he turned into a ruthless leader, Carlos had humble aspirations of excelling academically. Despite this, due to his intelligence and potential he was convinced by his teachers and parents to become part of something bigger than himself.

However, things took a turn for the worse when Carlos entered grade 5, as the student council had become corrupt and bullying was rampant. His classmates began to resent him for his intelligence and success and even falsely accused him of stealing funds and starting rumors. Outraged by the incompetence of the student council, he resolved to take matters into his own hands and dethrone the president—who was also his best friend—with assistance from his followers as well as Daryl, a Canadian friend who was involved in criminal activities but remained loyal to Carlos. Despite being criticized by some students for being a "noisy" and a "suck up," Carlos nearly won the election against Felix due to minimal diffence in upvotes. However, Felix proceeded to claim most of Carlos's duties and accomplishments as his own and plagiarize them, making Carlos feel more frustrated than ever. As nonviolent tactics did not render any results, Daryl suggested death threats which Carlos utilized along with other manipulative strategies. Though this was not very peaceful, Daryl's loyalty towards him was strong and unshakeable; so much so that Carlos had no other choice but to resort to such desperate measures. He incited riots amongst students, allowed bullies off without reprimand, instructed Daryl to blend in with them in order to uncover Felix's incompetence; which soon enough he did when he saw that the atmosphere in school had deteriorated significantly due to Felix's actions. Therefore, in order to put an end to all these atrocities, Carlos devised a plan that would expose Felix not only before his peers but also before his seniors by creating a video that revealed sources of plagiarism from various documents produced by him. This video sparked change within the student body which led to a revolution-like uprising against Felix who consequently ended up being expelled after suffering mental breakdown due to humiliation caused by this exposure of truth. As he watched all this unfold with satisfaction gleaming on his face knowing it was all part of his strategy for revenge against Felix for wronging him earlier on.

After the incident, Carlos started to clean up the mess Felix had left behind. He concealed all his masks used in the revolution and strove to make a name for himself. He appointed Daryl as his ‘Sergeant in Arms’ of the council and began to act like a authoritarian dictator, there was no ideology Carlos proposed it was just plain simple, be ruthless or be feared, while reforming laws and regulations. As time went on, he remained as a dictatorial figure in his junior year. Rhea played a vital role in exposing Felix's flaws during the revolution and infiltrated his inner circle, collecting incriminating evidence against him. In comparison, Paula was more militant and created riots to help further Carlos's purpose. Afterward, Carlos sought out Dennis for her knowledge and social skills when establishing a more capable system of governance. He also recruited Jaszel and Kira as part of the mathematics and science clubs which became popular among students; Antoinette later joined them as an aspiring engineer. Carlos asserted control over the student council with his sisters Rhea and Paula as his second in command but he became increasingly authoritarian with time. His team stayed loyal despite this, with Daryl being steadfast in his support for him as Sergeant in Arms. With demonstrations and school riots, he was able to maintain power without fading away like Felix – even though these methods may have seemed excessive or brutal – this helped establish Carlos’ authority over the school. Despite controversies regarding his style of leadership, it can’t be denied that Carlos made great strides for the school; reforms changed student life positively while new clubs provided educational opportunities that would not have been available before him. He's got an unyielding will, allowing him to remain composed and concentrated even in the most chaotic environments. His opponents know that he has little trouble crushing them with his iron fists, both physically and mentally. Prepared for any test he encounters, Carlos possesses the steadfastness needed to overcome even the toughest of hurdles. Additionally, he has a rigorous attitude towards work as well as discipline.
